Frequently Asked Questions
- What file formats do you accept?
- We accept STL, 3MF, and OBJ files for direct printing. We can also work with STEP and IGES CAD files. If you have a different format, just ask—we can often convert it.
- How do I prepare my STL file for printing?
- Export your model in millimeters (mm), ensure it is watertight (no holes in the mesh), and check that wall thickness is at least 1.2mm for durability. We will review your file and let you know if adjustments are needed.
- What if my file has errors?
- We use repair software to fix common mesh issues. If your file needs significant repairs, we will let you know before printing. Simple fixes are included; complex repairs may add to the quote.
- Can you scale or modify my file?
- Yes! Let us know if you need the print scaled up or down. We can also make simple modifications like adding mounting holes. Complex design changes should go through a designer first.
- How long until my print is ready?
- Once you approve the quote and pay, most prints are ready within 1-5 days depending on size and complexity. We will give you an estimated completion date with your quote.
